The pursuit of purpose is a confounding process. Primarily frustrated by our ego. At first, our ego thinks that purpose is for it. It’s a long journey to to train our ego to let go of that idea.
The ego must be de-centered. Not abandoned or destroyed. Just lovingly reminded that it is not the center of anything.
The freedom on the other side of this journey is astounding. The journey itself is painful.
For many the Covid-19 outbreak is a significant de-centering experience and our ego’s are struggling.
You can hear more of my thoughts on the subject HERE in episode 2 of On Purpose with Kirk Wayman Podcast.
